The Kids in The Kitchen Recipe Search Is Now On!

We're looking for the best recipes by kids in Australia. You can win big prizes for you and your school, with over $20,000 in kitchenware prizes to be won!

How do I win?

Create a tasty recipe using fresh, seasonal produce of your choice and enter it online by 31st October 2010. Presentation is important for judging, so make sure you upload a photo of your recipe with your entry. Originality, creativity, an appreciation of fresh ingredients and an understanding of basic cooking principles are also important judging criteria.

Who can enter?

Recipe entry is open to kids Australia wide, aged 8 - 12 years old. Entrants must be an Australian resident, currently attending an Australian primary school (public or private).

Too old to enter?

You can still win prizes by voting for recipes or by sharing the competition with your friends.

What do I win?

There are over $20,000 in kitchenware prizes to be won including cookware, knives and electrical appliances by top brands such as Anolon, Scanpan, KitchenAid, Global, Circulon, Jamie Oliver, Cuisinart, Raco and more. Five major winning entries will be chosen based on the most original, most creative, best flavour combination, best ingredient combination and best skill showcase. A minor prize will also be awarded to the most popular recipe based on the recipe that receives the most eligible votes.
